Papa and Mama will be performing their stripped down versions of the great songs of the 1950's and 1960's at the Brick Oven on Grand Island, NY this summer. It is the third straight year for the "Party on the Patio" series.

The Brick Oven is located in the Grand Island Plaza.

The duo will perform eight outside, patio, each Wednesday in July and August. The two hour performances will run from 8-10 pm..

"We are very happy to be returning to the Brick for the third straight year and performing our family friendly, old time rock and roll in front of oour friends and neighbors this summer," stated Papa Root.

He continued, " We've added quite a few new tribute songs as well as five new originals to our rotation. Of course, we'll still be performing fan favorites as well."

Papa sings lead and plays an acoustic/electric guitar and harmonica. Mama adds vocal harmonies and select rhythm items. The duo expands to a trio with the addition of veteran base guitar player, RockDoc.

"What could be better than doing something you love and performing in front of folks you know," added Mama Root.
