Papa and Mama Root to perform at Cheektowaga (NY) Senior Center
Grand Island, NY --Papa and Mama Root will be performing their two person interpretations of the great songs of the 1950's and 1960's at@the Cheektowaga (NY) Senior Center on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 12:45pm. The performance is slated to last approximately 60 minutes. There is no charge for the performance. The Center is located at 3349 Broadway St Cheektowaga, NY.

All Western New York Papa and Mama Root shows, including this event, are being sponsored and presented by New Buffalo Impact, a home energy improvement contractor from Tonawanda, NY (

The Papa and Mama Root Cheektowaga Senior Center performance is part of their gRockinf to the Roots" 2012 performance schedule. During May, they will performed Wednesday, May 2 at the Grand Island (NY) Center; and Thursday, May 17 Tonawanda (NY) Salvation Army Senior Center.
In April, Papa and Mama performed Tuesday, April 3 at the Lewiston (NY) Senior Center; and Thursday April 5, for the Ransomville (NY) Seniors. They will also appear Wednesday, April 11 at the Batavia (NY) Senior Center; Thursday, April 12 at the Newfane (NY) Senior Center, and Tuesday April 17 at the Wilson (NY) Senior Center.
The gRockinf to the Roots" Papa and Mama Root schedule also includes additional spring through fall WNY community events, and more than 50 professional baseball pre game shows with teams in five different professional baseball leagues beginning with a Saturday, May 26 at the AA Eastern League Erie Seawolves.
Papa Root@sings lead and plays an acoustic/electric guitar and harmonica. Mama adds vocal harmonies. More information on Papa and Mama Root can be found at:
