Papa and Mama Root to perform at the Lancaster, NY Senior Center
Grand Island, NY --Papa and Mama Root will be performing their two person interpretations of the great songs of the 1950's and 1960's at the Lancaster, NY Senior Center on Monday, August, 2012 at 6:45pm. The performance is slated to last approximately 60 minutes. The performance is in conjunction with a special ice cream social event at the Center and is sponsored by New Buffalo Impact, a home energy improvement contractor from Tonawanda, NY (

The Papa and Mama Root Lancaster, NY Senior Center performance is part of their "Rockin’ to the Roots" 2012 schedule.
During the summer the duo has performed at a dozen other WNY community events, and more than 60 professional baseball pre game shows with teams in five different professional baseball leagues.

Papa and Mama Root released a CD with all original songs in 2009. That 15-song CD, “Home Cooking”, is available at a wide variety of online music retailers. The duo is releasing a follow up CD, named “Second Helpings”, in late August 2012. Their music is also available for download at
