Grand Island, NY --Papa and Mama will be performing their two person interpretations of the great songs of the 1950's and 1960's at@the Dale Association Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon in Lockport NY on Thursday, May 16. The duo will also present songs from their two CDs, gHome Cookinfh(2009) and gSecond Helpingsh (2012).

During May, Papa and Mama will also perform at the Grand Island NY Golden Age Center, Lewiston NY Senior Center, Tonawanda NY Salvation Army Senior Center, and the Cheektowaga NY Senior Center. All performances will take place in conjunction with lunch programs. Individuals wishing to attend any of these performances should contact the Senior Centers for details and times.

Papa and Mama Root performed at three additional community centers in the Western New York area in April.

The Papa and Mama Root performances are part of their gRockinf to the Roots" 2013 performance schedule which includes additional spring through fall WNY community events, and a series of professional baseball pre game shows with teams in five different leagues. The duo recently returned from several performances on the Gulf Coast of Florida.

Papa and Mama are also scheduled at various other community events, fundraisers, and festivals and the northeastern United States.
