Papa and Mama Root to perform pre-game music at two Hornell Dodgers games

BUFFALO, NY - Oldies rock and roll, and southern rock tribute, and original music artists, Papa and Mama Root, will perform before two Hornell Dodger games this summer. The music is sponsored by the Energy Efficiency Training Center, a hands on weatherization skill training center for companies and individuals in, or wishing to become part of, the home energy improvement industry.

Papa and Mama Root will perform on Friday, July 2, and Thursday, July 22. The performances will begin at 6 pm, and are weather permitting.

Papa and Mama Root features Papa on acoustic electric guitar, harmonica and lead vocals. Mama adds backing vocals. They expand to a trio with the addition of veteran bass guitar player RockDoc. Papa and Mama Root recently released a roots rock CD entitled "Home Cookin'" which is receiving regular airplay. That CD is available at most major online retailers.
