Papa and Mama Root to perform five pre-game shows with Auburn Doubledays

BUFFALO, NY - Oldies rock and roll, and southern rock tribute, and original music artists, Papa and Mama Root, will perform before five Auburn Doubledays games this summer. The music is sponsored by the Energy Efficiency Training Center, hands on weatherization skill training for businesses and individuals in, or wishing to become part of, the home energy improvement industry.

Papa and Mama Root will kickoff the pre-game music series on Friday, June 25. Other dates are: Thursday, July 29; Saturday August 7; Friday, August 20; and Saturday, August 28. All performances will begin at 6 pm, and are weather permitting. More information is available at www.papaandmamaroot.com . Papa and Mama Root features Papa on acoustic electric guitar, harmonica and lead vocals. Mama adds backing vocals. They expand to a trio with the addition of veteran bass guitar player RockDoc. Papa and Mama Root recently released a roots rock CD entitled "Home Cookin'" which is receiving regular airplay. That CD is available at most major online retailers.
