Papa and Mama Root Wednesday on the Patio music series returns to the Brick Oven in July and August

GRAND ISLAND, NY ¨Papa and Mama Root, oldies rock and roll tribute duo and original music recording artists, will return to Grand Island Brick Oven Pizzeria covered patio this summer in a series of July-August Wednesday night performances. This will be the third consecutive season that Papa and Mama has performed the series.

Themed as Wednesdays on the Patio, the shows are free, and under the patio cover. The 2010 series begins Wednesday, July 6. The weekly performances are scheduled from 8-10 pm.

The Brick Oven is located at 2372 Grand Island Blvd (in the Grand Island, NY Plaza).

Papa and Mama perform throughout the northeast and mid-south at fairs, festivals, amusement parks, re-unions, fundraisers, community affairs, and sporting events. During the summer of 2011, Papa and Mama are performing at 55 professional baseball game pre-games.

Papa and Mama features Papa on acoustic electric guitar, harmonica and lead vocals. Mama adds backing vocals. They become a trio with the addition of veteran bass guitarist RockDoc.
